I cannot say this in any better way ! But what a horrible very delapidated and run down place. Carpets theadbare and stained bedsheets stained walls marked tiolets and shower smelt like it was built over a main sewage drain Cleaning staff very rude When we arrived the room was alledged to be freshly cleaned Yet someone who used toilet last obviously never flushed afterwards We only stayed though nessesaty first night but swiftly moved on following day Pictures on various sites are very very misleading

Me and my partner stayed here for a weekend. The room was perfect for the price and is located close to the city centre but the only complaint I have is that the black lady who was working behind the bar/reception on the Sunday was very very rude. Never talks to customers when serving behind the bar and whilst I was waiting to be served at the bar she kissed her teeth as walking towards me and told me I should wait and continued to talk to someone who looked like her friend. Pictures are deceptive, do not waste your money, you will 100% regret it. Took my daughter here as a place to sleep whilst on a shopping trip. We lasted 15 minutes before the cigarette stench, dirt and shocking state had us running for the door. Happily we found the funny side as it was so bad we actually found it comical. Please don’t waste your money! 1* was only because the barmaid was friendly.

We chose this because it was the cheapest option, and now we understand why. First off we went into the bar/hotel. There is no reception for the hotel it’s just the bar and only one person working on shift at this point so we had to go and physically find her to help us check in. As I walked through I already new that this would not be a great experience. We both felt very unsafe for the whole time we were there. We were told that the pub shuts at 11 so after we need to go through a side door, the lady that spoke to us was nice I guess. We left the place for a gig and when we came back after the concert, we went in through the side entrance which felt so dodgy, we were met with a bunch of drunk men laughing at us, even though the pub was supposed to shut at 11 so I guess they were either staff or other hotel guests. The room we stayed in was alright at first look, but as we saw more detail it just got worse. To start with, the bathroom had no ventilation in it, the shower had mould in it and weird looking things on the walls… the ceiling of the bathroom was peeling off, the cleaner did not do a good job of removing the hair in the shower so that was a lovely surprise as well. The toilet had no lid and it was slightly dirty, there was only one bin which was located in the bathroom - no bin lid and no bin bag either… pretty grim if you ask me. The soap bottle was grim, there was only shower gel so good luck trying to was your hair lol. The bed had clean sheets and we had a double bed, it was really big which was a plus however it was extremely uncomfortable and if we weren’t as tired as we were after a long night out then I don’t think we’d of slept especially since I have back problems. The hotel is located right by a road and the windows didn’t shut properly so basically let all the sound from outside through whilst we were sleeping as well as wind as well, although it was quite warm in the room. When I tell you I felt unsafe, I made sure the door was locked and checked on the outside too to make sure we were both safe, genuinely was scared someone would come in through the night because of how dodgy this place was. When we woke up in the morning, I had a shower in the mouldy bathroom and then went to curl my hair, I sat down at the desk and put my hand in something sticky that obviously hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was also hair around the sticky bit which honestly was just really gross and made me feel uncomfortable. The kettle they provided was dirty, they provided us with cups for tea and coffee however the spoons that came with them were pretty rank and obviously hadn’t been washed properly so I decided to sit out on the tea front. Because of that and the fact that we didn’t feel safe, we didn’t stay for breakfast so I can’t speak on that but all in all it was not a great stay at all and we will not be going back here any time soon or ever again for that matter. BED BUGS!!!! We stayed for a concert for one night. The hotel didn’t look anything like the pictures, but for the cheap price we thought we would stay anyway. The room was disappointing and quite grimy but it was okay just for somewhere to sleep, rarely seen any staff members while we were there. You could hear everything in the corridor from the room and it definitely needed a DEEP clean. Bedding was still wet Bed bug infestation, don’t stay here. Avoid at all costs and don’t let the cheap price fool you, like it did to us.
